Our Process
Feasibility Assessment
Our first conversation starts by building an understanding of your site’s location and opportunities, where we dig into zoning, location and potential. During this feasibility assessment phase I do some more research into your specific site, assessing title deed conditions, servitudes and other restrictions. I also assess the alignment of your project with various state-driven masterplans, and explore other opportunities or uses for the site to find the best fit for development, and determine which statutory planning approvals are required for your project.
Conceptualisation & Spatial Analysis
From here we work together to refine the concept. To move from concept to more detailed site development plan or layout stage, I typically undertake a detailed survey of your site, and combine this with other extensive spatial databases to further refine the site layout and optimise land use, density, design feel, user experience and return on investment.
Statutory Planning
With a site development plan in hand, I manage the entire development planning approval process, from compiling the planning applications, motivations and supporting documents, managing the public consultation processes and consideration by the appropriate authorities.
Project Realisation
Once I have your approvals in hand, I see to the surveys required, be it setting-out buildings and infrastructure for construction, to minor subdivisions and township surveys to sectional title scheme surveys post-construction. When you’re ready to register the first sales, I assist with obtaining the necessary certificates for registration working closely with the conveyancers.
Throughout the Development Process you will be kept well-informed
I also collaborate closely with other professionals who might be involved in the project including conveyancers, engineers, environmental consultants & architects.
I use Notion to manage your workflow, and a tried and tested mix of technologies and equipment to deliver on your development. And, because I believe in personal growth and development, you may also see students and in-service graduates working on your project with me.
